Please help with question on Jib Academy

Hello friends, tomorrow is the Jib Academy here in France, Im not competing because I didn't register in time but if you could please help answer my question I would appreciate it. Question: In the past have they closed the park for the jib academy events? Because our park here in Chamonix has rails for the first time and rails are my favvv and If its closed I have to watch some kids get rallied on a sick rail setup I might be mildly frustrated. So in the past, have they closed the park during these events? I havent hit a park rail since July and Im itchen for my jibbin.

no last year at waterville the park was still open all day to public

No offense...but I've heard Chamonix has amazing snow, not amazing metal. I'm sure you've checked that out but I think that playing around on a really good mountain outside the park is the best way to get better at skiing. Try throwing some stuff off cliffs and such, do tree jibs, tap them while jumping a little something. You're in Chamonix, jesus christ! One of the best mountains in the world!!!

Thanks for the advice man. If you would have watched my last edit on Cham, we have been skiing only the mountain. Just figured Id try to keep my rail skills in touch, but we have had about 5 days of skiing park about half the day out of the month we have been here. The pillows have been sick and its been a good year. Thanks for the advice though :).

obviously, I actually wouldn't consider it balanced this year because we have taken too many pow days! Haven't worked hard enough on my park jumping...
