I dont see they wont put pipe in 2014. It's better than skier-x and skier x is in 2010

i bet tanner would enter, 30 isnt that old at all, there are tons of skateboarders, snowboarders, etc over 30 still doing really well. there just arent any old freestyle skiers cause our sport is so new.

They claimed that there weren't enough coutries with competitors. I would have to disagree though you could easily get competitors from:
Japan
USA
New Zealand
Australia
Canada
France
Austria
Germany
Sweden
Norway
Finland
Switzerland
and after a few years of training I think Italy, Argentina, Chile, China, Russia, Spain and a few other countries would throw some skiers up on the board.
I count 12 definite countries with 6 more in the following Olympics. I think they have a rule about 15 countries needing to have the sport to add it to the Olympics, however this does not coincide with what they have been doing recently:
Womens Snowboard Cross: 34 competitors from 10 countries
Women's Skier Cross: 30 skiers from 11 countries
Women's Bobsled: 26 competitors from 13 countries
So why do they say we don't have enough competition to make it Olympics?

^agreed. every winter olympic event will have less countries able to compete than summer olympic events just because some place arent cold to train a legit team.

they should put it in the 2010 olympics, it's not like it would be that hard to fit it in

the problem with it is the various countries. definitely true. They put snowboarding half pipe in and america has just dominated. the olympic committee wouldnt want that again. A lot will change in 6 years, so it might be possible. but as of right now its not not going to happen.

they probably realized that we all are a bunch of stoners
what with tanners permabake-esque demeanor and most of the community supporting the use of the sweet herb maybe they said "fuck that, lets not bother."
i know a lot of snowboarders smoke as well, but everytime i flip thru their mag's or watch an interview they seem pretty clear headed, and carry themselves differently, i.e. the way they are paid to carry themselves.
just a thought.
