i think simon should of won....its more exciting to watch simon that tanner but they are both sick.......i wish tanner would do slopestyle to make him more of an overall skier instead of just a pipe junky.....
Yeah now that I think about it Tanner is the man and totally deserves the win. His run was way more technical than Simons. I think I was just in shock when the judges gave Simon such a low score for that crazy run but the truth is that he never spun the other way and never really grabbed. Tanner dominated all night long and came out victorious. He fuckin slays.
taanner had the big tech run, simon had waaayyy more style, in my opinoin simon shouldve won tanners rund wasnt that impressive, and i am setting aside my hatred for simon when saying this
also about the terrible coverage, i stay up late when im tired to watch x-center at midinght to see some extra coverage cuz i say only the last 4 runs, FUCKING TERIBBLE, i have to sit through a half hour of blah blah blah shaun white blah blah blah snowcross blah blah blah speed and style is amazing blah blah blah. and when they get to skiing the annoucer i assume litteraly has never seen skiing in his life, he couldnt for the life of him say 540 he called it 560, used the words iron cross everytime he saw a tail or mute grab, didnt even know what a flatspin was, and said that this one swedish guy who was a aspen local invented the whiskey flip when everyone knows it was peter olenick, why cant they just hire some guy off ns or another ski tour or a skier that isnt competeing to annouce.....its gayer than aids
Tanner had 7 hits, Simon had 5. I dont care about amplitude when you do 2 more tricks in a run. Not to mention Tanners flat 3, one of the coolest pipe tricks I've ever seen.
