simon went so huge, i think he should ahve won. tanners wasnt as big but he had pretty good tricks. some people just wanted simon to win. i am gonna claim, i got a nice snowball to the top of the judges tent. haha.
Tanner's run was one of the best runs in Halfpipe history...don't tell me Dumont shoulda won.
I'll tell you what, if I were a gaper who didn't know about steeze, I would think that Dumont shoulda won too...5 huge hits that spun to the left, no good these days if you wanna hang with Tanner's unnatural rightside 9, the 12, the flat 5 the 9, the (i forgot), and then the smoothest flat 3 I have ever seen...it just doesn't compare to Tanner. Dumont stomped the shit out of his run. But so did Tanner, and Tanner just clearly made the better run. If Dumont really wanted to win, he should have learned how to boost 21 feet while spinning right. That would have gotten him gold.
Oh also I think Hatveits run was phenomenal. Sooooo smooth and soooooo steezy.
Jah only knows what woulda happened if Peter O stomped that last 10....
next year is dumonts year
I;m am sure some poeple have posted this already but I need to reiterate it.
FANS WERE NOT BOOING TANNER, THEY WERE BOOING THE JUDGES,
It was just an unfortinute serious of events for Hall.
Much respect for both of them, and quoting Tanner,
"Half pipe skiing tonight took a giant leap..."(Hall, 07)
