WTT JPs for 189 Seth

188 JP v J's, drilled once for Salomon and currently for medium Naxos. A little topsheet chipping, otherwise bases and edges minty with no damage and no repairs of any kind. Looking to get back on some 189 Seth Pistols (or vicious, whatever.)  May consider selling outright if I can find a pair of seths for sale somewhere.

Also willing to entertain trade offers for other long, heavy, fat skis. The JPs are fun, but just not burly enough for me.

I have 189 Pistols... couple things though.

1. They're twice drilled, and the core, much as I loved those sticks when I had them, isn't the burliest ever, so if you take the naxos off they aren't going to have much left in them. I think you'll have to leave them on there and sell/trade with binders.

2. Seth Pistols aren't actually any beefier than those things. Promise. Pistols are AK worthy but they're a soft kind of AK worthy. You might want to think about Scratch BCs or Goats if you really want to step up your beef-o-meter.

Well, as you probably know the Naxo bindings have a very long mount pattern. Another alpine mount wouldn't even put the new holes in the same zip code with the Naxo holes. I mean - to each his own, but I wouldn't hesitate to drill them again. Maybe twice more, but that completely depends on the skier, the binding, and the desired mount point.

And I had well over 200 days & probably half of them BC on my last pair of 189 (brit flag version) Pistols. They were plenty stiffer than these JPs - even when they were shattered, dead, and camberless.

And Scratch BCs and Goats are not "burly" by any means. Big Daddies are burly. Explosives are burly. Squads are burly. Goats are noodles, dude.

They're stiff twins, especially compared to old Seths. If you want a stiff big mountain charger you're on the wrong website. My best advice in that realm of ski would be to wait for next season and get some On3ps customed. Word is first skis off the new press are stiffer than FFF 240s... though flex is customizable.

Goats definitely aren't noodles though, they're legit. They're not quite original ANTs and they're obviously not Squads (ridiculous) but they're plenty stiffer than pistols.
