Tips for compressing video

So I just made a little edit on CS3 and I can't compress it to less than like 230mb ... Can anyone give me some tips on how to compress the best way,

limit your bit rate, it does wonders.

I got this down to 26 mb using h.264 with a bit rate of 2,000. Depending on the length of the movie, you can adjust your bit rate accordingly.

Sorenson squeeze works very well also.
