People dont understand stock.

alrighty so we have so many people selling stocks worth 10 dollars for like 4 grand. face it you arent going to get that and it wont raise the value of the stock at all maybe a dollar tops. you need to sell slightly below the stocks value . this market is crazy its just gunna end if no one lowers prices.  example look at mine.http://img111.imageshack.us/my.php?image=ssegg3.png yeah my prices seem high but there still slightly below or above market price not 2-3 grand above.

ummmm so how were you lucky enough to invest in all three of the rediculously booming stocks? and i dont think that was the right picture, it didnt look like you were selling anything.

well its either that or your very very lucky. and i dont know how you would be able to do that in the SSE so im guessing your very very lucky to have 99 of alex godbout and kaya turski

His stocks are overvalued. That means their real value doesn't match the list value. They're worth... well, about what you'd pay for a share of alex or kaya. I wouldn't even pay 100. Same goes for all the other stocks. Pollard is worth 300 because you'd pay that for him, which is why there are people offering that for him. Tanner is worth 2 g's because people will drop that on a share of his stock and take the dividend on that huge price, and it'll make it worthwhile.

your incorrect if they wernt worth it my value price would be going down. its steady right now cause people are buying them at about2k from me so its all good there smart people to invest in something thats gunna go up in the future.

I'm liking this a lot. It'll be cool to see the gains and losses if this really gets off the ground. what I don't understand is why if it says theres a stock you can buy for hypothetically lets say 10$ per 10 shares or something and then you put that up it doesn't go through? Is trading closed like the real market or what makes that transaction complete? aah, I'm so confused.

That's its approximate value, not a price tag.

People buying Alex Godbout, Kaya, Blake, Jen Hudak... gonna be disappointed when that stock goes back down to double digits.

Pretty sure there has to be an appropriate sell order to make the transaction complete. So if there is a sell order for 10 shares @ $10 each, and you offer the same, then the transaction should go through, if you offer to buy 10 shares for less than $10 per share, then it will put it in your tabled orders and wait for an appropriate sell order. If you offered to buy 10 shares @ $15 each then the trade would be done at $12.50..

I still dont get how the initial offering was done? How did people snag all these big name stocks at such a small price - everyone should have been given fair opportunity to pick them up. I think it was an advantage to whoever was on NS at the time? I still don't get how that went down.

haha, I think the same convo is sort of happening in two threads.. anyway. yeah I thought that's what would happen but even when I offered the same price it sits there. Yeah, I got in on a good deal without even realizing it at the time. I found out later when I looked back and everyone had gone from 10 a share to hundreds a share. At that point I was like shit I missed out on some other stuff didn't I. They were all equal at the beginning.
