i was just wondering where other backcountry entrances there are at stowe. I've taken the hike up to the chin a few times before but thats about it. locals share your secrets plz?

if your looking for good pow on the ec..you should def try out Jay Peak, they get more snow annually than steamboat, its always powder and never that many people

that the way it used to be.  Its getting very crowded.  I waited in half an hour lift line last weekend and the condition were not even that good

It was MLK weekend...always busier. Saturday was crazy busy...sunday was ski on lifts everytime and blower 6" pow. Just had to deal with the cold

sorry man it doesn't work like that. the good backcountry of the east cost is something you earn not something you receive. get adventurous and try to find it on your own but be safe. There just isn't enough of it to go around you need to make the effort to reap the benefits.

thats how me and my buddy felt at jay peak while all the snow was mushy. mother nature wanted us to respect the woods first. and the next time she'll give us below 32 degrees and freshies :) thank god we brought mad bud

yah i ski up there every weekend and that was the buisiest i have ever seen it. Might have been because the flyer was down but it was awful. Hour waits for some lifts.
