HDV preset on adobe premiere not working. HELP PLEASE QUICK

so im using premiere to make some edits and the HDV preset isnt showing up. it shows that there is a folder that says HDV but there is nothing inside. how can i capture my footy from my hv20 onto premiere without this??

im trying to make some edits tonight.  one which youll love.  terrible backflip crash... with vid of in the ski patrol place etc. and us getting our passes taken away. so yea.  quick help would be appreciated. i FINALLY bought my firewire so now i can actually upload shit. and im missin out man!

some people have had problems with this and the HV20. with mine, i load up final cut and use apples intermediate codec for 1080i, or just use iMovie. im assuming that since adobe premier isnt apple, it wont have this.

if you have a mac, just use iMovie 08 or iMovie HD

if you have  a pc, i have no clue, but check out HV20.com and do a few searches through the forums. theres alot of threads that help with this and PC's so im sure you will get the answer there.

btw- the footage from this camera is sick! im sure you will be pleased with it.
