BINDING ADJUSTMENT

Quick question..........

Rossi Scratch 140ti from 05/06. WHat is the amount of adjustment in them? THey are mounted for a 27.5 boot, could it fit a 26.5?

depends if they were mounted to fit the original boot near the front or back of the track. Take a look and see how much room is left to move them

depending  on where they are mounted on the track, and if you shop guy did it right they should be able to move that far...

TAKE THEM TO YOUR SHOP AND GET THEM REMOUNTED/ADJUSTED.

Unless you want to blow your knees, or pop out chronically, you will follow this advice...

If you dont know how to make binding adjustments, dont do them. Let someone else do them for 10 bucks. its worth it in the longrun.

well that's cuz fks are not designed to adjust very much at all they just have a little bit of forward pressure adjustment. the scratch ones will adjust a ton.

actually the fks have a lot of travel...the guy who had to remount, the track must have been on the far end, not in the middle as it shoud of been

no fkx is 360 degree pivot heel, same as fks 120, 155, 185 etc

ok well considering fks & fks arent even the same binding anymore i have no idea what you guys are talking about, but turntable heels don't mount on tracks at all...

From memory I believe the track on the 140 has about 15mm of adjustment on it - but as mentioned, it totally depends on where on the heel track the binding was originally set up - if it was in the middle you could have upto around a size difference to work with (depending on the BSL difference) either way which would mean the 27.5 and 26.5 should both be doable without a remount.

Forward pressure also needs to be reset as well

i know they dont have tracks, i meant the arms screw in and out to adjust boot size and forward pressure
