Help Mac Nerds- Torrent Help

I just downloaded a torrent so I can copy my DVDs. I downloaded it using tomato torrent, now that it is downloaded how do I open it and install it so I can use it. Any help would be appreciated

Well I guess i'll graciously take the honor of a "Mac Nerd". haha. But yea need to know what the file type is. I'm assuming that if you double click on it it should pop up with a disk image on your desktop. From there you'll open the disk image, then drag the application into your applications folder (or onto your desktop) anywhere will work. If it comes up with an error message you'll have to dwonload an unzipper (for .zip files) or some kind of expander (stuffit) works really well.
