Replying to Problem with hucking/balance
Well, first of all, yes I did use the search bar, but "Hucking" came up with only like 10 results, and "huck" came up with around 50 threads containing Chuck Norris, interestingly enough.
Anyways, I've been having some trouble with my balance when I huck for 3's. I'm just learning to spin anything more than a one, so I actually have to huck for 3's right now. My problem is I usually make the rotation, or atleast close enough, but end up almost laying down on my side, since I' usually come up a bit short of 360, and kind of backseat. I'd been having trouble figuring out why I couldn't just stay balanced and upright in the air, until my friend noticed that when I let go of my pre-wind and huck, I swing my arms across and a bit up at the same time, which puts me into an almost slightly corked position, resulting in me ending up landing almost laying back. So, I tried correcting this by focusing on hucking straight across, or even slightly down, and a few times it worked and I felt perfectly balanced in the air, but most of the time, I'm focusing so much on the direction of my huck, I forget other things, like looking over my shoulder, and don't really make it. Anyone have tips for staying balanced better? I've only been doing them off tiny 5 footers and 12 footers until I can get them consistently, and want to get rid of this balance problem so that I can take them to 20's and 25's.
Wow that was long, thanks to anyone who made it this far.
