i mostly ski park..i know the marker jester is a more freestyle oriented bindind then the z12 but the z12 weighs 3.8 pounds per pair and the jester weighs 5.6 pounds per pair..thats a considerable weight cut but its not as good a freestyle binding as the jester..which one should i get they are both pretty much 300$

Very different bindings man - DIN range for one...how tall/heavy are you, agressive skier?
i.e Do you NEED a 6-16 din binging?

im 145lbs and im a super aggressive skier espeicaly in the park i do alot of big spins and becuase im still trying to learn 900's and 1080's i land backseat or forward a bit much sometimes and i would like a hardset binding regardless of my lighter weight..and i kno there is a din difference but im just wondering if the jester has any significat difference for freestyle other then the higher din then the z12..if they transfer power better or are stronger or maybe softer on rails anything..just which should i get for park.

I know the Jesters have very little, if not no ramp angle but not sure on the z12s.

the toepiece on the jester is a bit higher than other bindings, making the toe of the boot on the same plane as the heel, supposedly increasing switch skiing performance

okay sick..well would u take those features over the weight reduction on the z12? which u would ride for park? seemslike the z12 would be sickass for spins because it would have almost no weight on ur feet but maybe 1.8 pounds is not a big deal

Jester is probably a stronger binding than the Z12

Look at the STH 12 as opposed to the z12, the STH uses the world cup heel plate and is MUCH stronger

The jesters would be the better binding if you are looking for something a little more durable and if you want to utilize the flex of your ski. since the jester has a small toe piece, it leaves room for better flex than most other bindings. I love mine. When landing switch on a jump the shock suspension inside the heel piece reacts to the landing, "giving with" the impact. The z12 are a pretty good binding being a little lighter underfoot, but then they are sacrificing the din which only goes to a 12 while a jester goes to a 16. I'll leave it up to you, but from my opinion i would get the jester.

i love my jester's. i have them on 177 volkl walls, and have no complaints. i have mine set at 9 and i weigh ~ 170. come out when i need em to and thats it. im really just learning spins and i love them, i feel like the spring on the back makes all the difference. have not noticed any problems for rails or boxes. just started learning spins off the rails and havent found any complaints. plus i think i can really feel the wide base of the jester. great for downhill skiing. i have never skied the z12's though. sorry.

damn dude honestly thats the greatest advice ever from you last 2 i alreayd purchased the jester with some dumonts and im going to mount them 1cm back but damn that makes me feel more secure about my purchase that 1.8pound gain is way worth it from what u say...cant wait to try some spins and some rails must be so much fun skiing and landing switch
