So here's my story:
Last year I left my Fujatives at the end of a two run, and ran them over with a Polaris Ranger. They came out just fine, no visible damage. This may or may not have shit to do with my question, but its funny.
I noticed the other day that under foot, there are two bubbles forming. They are visible from the base, and are both around the little pieces of the edge that go inside. They are a bit smaller than a dime, but are growing. There are actually 2 on each ski, directly under the mount line on a pair of ski boots.
I need a solid ski for the rest of the year. I would rather replace them now and ride for the rest of the season on something fresh than replace them at the end of the year when they may be shot anyways. I go to CO on the 14th, so if you think it would be wise to retire them to backyard and urban, please tell me now. They are 179, and I'm 6'2" 185, so the only part of me that would regret replacing them is my checkbook.
