best show ever?

for those who watch, is the secret ingrediant told to the chefs before hand or do they find out the instant its revealed on the show?
just wondering, cuz they seem to be ready to cook without even thinking of what to make, but the show hypes how its 'secret'...

i've pondered this also...but then i cam to the conclusion, that there asian. And asians can memorize recipes reallllll good.

this is def one of my fav shows...but the chefs def no before cause they woudnt know what to make when they showed the ingrediant
