i searchbarred this and only one other thread on it from two years ago. is everybody still against it? cuz i dont have nearly as much fun without some whiskey and an ipod.

also... i really dont think its that dangerouse, as long as you get a sober driver for the icy road home. anybody with me?

ehh i dunno. i'm sure its fun but if you get to the point where you can't have fun skiing without some sort of substances then maybe you're not all that into it... not trying to say you don't like skiing or anything but i'd rather just enjoy skiing for what it is and drink afterwards

skiin buzzed is ok. but not drunk. if u cant fuckin walk how are u supposed to ski? extreme moderation. skiing drunk is fuckin retarded, its like driving drunk cept without the protection of a car, seatbelt, and airbags. bad idea.

Ive done it 3 times this week progressivly getting drunker each time and It was a blast. I only hit boxes and small jumps but still tear it up. Last night I fell on my hip and it fucking kills. Just a fun place to drink when your underage and can't go anywhere else. I don't really think ti is that dangerous either if your a good skier your body will naturauly know how to and you don't have to think much about it. It also depends on what kinda drunk you are if your a clumsy person who knocks shit over then I wouldnt go skiing. But there are those people who drink just to chill or socialize and those are the ones who have fun drinking and skiing i think.

I can have one beer while skiing. Anything more and I am definately sucking. I feel slow and delayed and unenthusiastic after more than one. However, I have had some pretty good days hungover cause I just don't give a fuck. Sorry about whoevers aunt got hurt. It is never good to hear that shit. Unfortunately there are a lot of deriletcs out there.

nah dude I reckon thats silly, its like saying no one should stumble around when they're drunk cause we're all good at walking and do it as second nature. what kind of drunk you are has alot to do with how much you drink, even if you're mad chill you're gonna be clumsy and uncoordinated after so much to drink.

you can have a few drinks and be chill about it but it can still be dangerous / its fun haha

i basically can't do it. my buddies get in the car at 8 and start pounding them down ALL DAY. i think it's stupid. every once and a while i'll ski after drinking some captain and coke or something. i don't really like the feeling of being drunk and skiing, i feel way too outta control, and i can't ski for shit. that's not fun to me....i'd rather ski blazed

I went skiing one morning still hammered from the night before and managed to ski better than I could walk.  It's weird but my muscle memory just worked better skiing than walking and talking.   That being said the last time i skied park while drunk i hurt myself and popped way to hard and missed the transition in the pipe and rocked my head sooo i would recommend it.

for those of us that aren't raging nerds, skiing and drinking is a fun time.  last ski trip it was icy and drizzling and we were the only people on the mountain, so we decided to make the best of it and crack into some pabst ahead of schedule.  it turned a lackluster time skiing into a great time

skiing and drinking is like being drunk and driving a ferrari down a 6 lane highway with no one on it.  no guilt, lots of fun.
