Laptop Halp plz

aight, so i'm making a couple hundred this winter and i can either buy a PA system, talkbox, kaossilator, or laptop (or any combination of the choices if i make enough)

as far as laptops go, where can i get one uber cheap?

this does NOT need to be super high-performance, i'm getting one for college next christmas that will be large and more powerful

this one is for online classes, im'ing, and runnings synths and midi on

this may work, i may need to expand the memory and check to see if cakewalk will work with linux

go for mac or pc with linux, but if you want a microsoft os dont even think about vista. vista is the worst thing ive ever seen

aight, so i'm gonna get the eee and upgrade the RAM to 2GB, add a 16GB SDHC card, use an external hard-drive for music and such, and run a microsoft emulator to use Cakewalk

but that does look pretty sick, and it should be pretty fast when i'm done with it
