Skullcandy warranty

ok so im gettin my skullcrushers warrantied so i sent them an mail, they sent me one back with the ra number or whatever and it said to cut the plug off and put it in the package and send it in. so do they just want the plug? so i can just sent it in an envelope right?

i sent mine without cutting the plug and they sent back a new pair right away, cuz i had no idea what they ment either so i just took the plug out of my ipod and sent it to them and they came back brand new

does anyone else know if i can just send the plug in so i dont have to pay an extra 5 bucks to ship the wholeheadphones

the exact same thing happened to me
i emailed them
they gave me some place to send them to
i sent them
and then like teh next week i got a band new pair and only paid for shipping there
skullcandy's warranty is soooooo sick
but email them and ask what you should do
