Already have blends, but good idea to add invaders?

i already have 179 blends that are great for pow, and trees, i mean they are sick as hell for pow and trees, but they are a bit stiff and heavy for me for the park (lol i am weak, too tough for me to flex, etc) so i am considering buying some 171 invaders, are the skis too similar to really get the invaders?

your not the only one to have trouble riding them park, it isn't a park ski. the blend is stiff, pick up some invaders got buddies who love them for the park. nice price too.

whhhat!? Man those things were crazy tight as a park ski.. I still think about those things. Get a 178.. if you're gonna pick something up.

i've got a pair of blends for park and i couldn't imagine using anything else. i had anthems before and they were just too soft. i guess if you're smaller and don't charge really hard, the blend would be too much for everyday park use. i'd say for sure try the invader or anthem if you think the blend is too much for you. but unless you're really small, don't go smaller than the 178 length.

If you ride the 179 Blend, you're going to be pissed off with any other size Anthem other then 178. Its center mounted so its going to ski shorter and it is substantially softer which is going to make it feel shorter too (coming from stiff skis).
I'd say go for it because the two skis are completely different in flex. I have the Blends and they are an amazing ski but they are stiff and I can see where Anthems would be better for park. Some anthems would be a sick ski to complement your Blends with actually.
Probably be fun and goof off and ride some pow with too :)
