im looking at these beasts as a possible new pair. i have heard they are sick backcountry but i havent heard much about these skis in the park. im 6'2'' 165 and ski 60/40 park to all mountain. i was told a 179 would fit me. would this be a good ski for me?

If you're a good skiier you could ski them anywhere, but they are pretty stiff.  If you suck get softer skis for park.  they come in 181 this year by the way.

They're pretty good in park i'd say. Softer then my V-Pros and ski kinda short in my opinion. But either way, they're sooooo much fun all over the mountain, you can do so much with them. If you're 100% park then don't get them.

They are pretty good in the park, i have the 181's from this year.  only problem i have with them is that the topsheet chips and cracks like no one's business.  after skiing them for one day they looked like i had them for 2 or 3 years.

yo 187s are so large. i ride 169s now, which are too short, but i was thinking like a 177

get the 181's.  I am 6'1 and ride both the 187 and the 181s... both are KILLER skis.
