Trying to burn an mdf file to dvd

I downloaded ubermovie from torrentz and want to burn it to a dvd.
Its an mdf file and I have deamon tools and can play it on my comp, but how do I burn the file so I can play it on DVD?

1. download Alcohol 120%
2. Install and select Image Burning Wizard
3. Follow the instructions and enjoy

didnt work, i tried alcohol 120 and not only is it confusing and set up horribly, but when i popped the dvd in the dvd player, no dice.
I have magiciso and have converted it into an iso file, but still cant get it to burn properly.

I did, i think the problem is that the original file is encoded for europe... and well, im not there.
SO I have the iso file, and put all the vod fragments into one vod, burned it, and got a dvd error messege.
Ive been using nero to try to change the format to ntsc (right?)
so heres my problem now... how the fuck do you work nero vision to change the file format?
there should just be a program that can take any video file, in any format and just convert auto and burn.
period.
