painting skis

I got a old pair of skis for 2 bucks and i want to repaint them. how do I do it? what kinda paint do i use? any useful tips would be helpful

first you have to sand down the tops of the skis so the paint can grip something, then paint them (not sure which paint is best. Acrylic?) then you have to buy some off that protectant clear spray and cote the top of your skis with it.

I'm not really an expert and if you feel like searching the articles section there are some detialed articles on how to do it.

I use rustoleum spray paint. it has a finish coat in the paint, so its super strong and looks good.

sand the ski down. spray on a grit/primer coat. that makes the next stage stick to the ski better. then u spray the ski with an acryllic, do your design but not more than three layers, the do a double coating of a plastic covering. amek sure it is a little above room temperature when u do it and after all of that run an iron over it to firm up any mistakes.

i spray painted my old ke enemies bright orange and dripped red paint on them...they look terrible but i ski at a resort that hass 3 small lifts and no park...im just gonna use them on shitty days

ok first a layer of duct tape, then a layer of saran wrap and make sure u do it a room temperature, then a layer of scotch tape, and then finish it off my dumping gasoline on it, and burn it at room temperature and go ski with it right after that it is sick dude
