i was just there about 2 weeks ago. They a dcnet amount of shit as far as jibs and what not however all of it is set up sooo poorly thats its GAY'd out. spend your money on a pass somewhere else ...haha
Well, last Thursday they opened their main park on Foxfire with 2 jumps, I guess they were 30 and 40 footers. And a few jibs setup. Everyone has said it's good, but I haven't personally seen it, or seen any photos.
i made an appearance in the park on friday...it was pretty nice, not alot of features, but what they have is legit. The hip they put in at the bottom was pretty sick...and hv is getting pounded with cold weather and alot of lake effect so i wont be surprised if they put even more features in.
Well, not so much cold currently, and not so much snow for holiday.
It's marginal snowmaking weather, and the lake effect hit further to the north. I got about 10 inches at my house, but my work 30 minutes to the south (Holiday Valley is 45 minutes to the south of my home) only has maybe 2 inches on the ground.
This weekend should provide both awesome snowmaking weather, and awesome natural snowfall though.
As a local of holiday valley, I am pleased with the park this year. The back to back thirty to forty foot booters are a nice addition, plus the spine at the end which has many possibilities. The pipe will be bad as usual, but its a work in progress
it is pretty good now, there is a 40' and 30' up, w/ rails and such. they just got a cuple inches which helps em' out so much. its good for hv that time o' year
