craigslist they go for around 350....are you shooting with a telephoto like realllyyy zoomed photos cause if not just get a XT its basically just a gimmick

if you can find body only on ebay for a reasonable price..let me know..you can get a new xt for $400 and a refurbished xti for $470..everything ive seen is $500+ and comes with the kit lens or some other garbage i dont want..

ask around at camera shops to see if any one is selling one thats how i got my xti i got a body for 400 and dont get a xt spend a little more and buy a xti

I'm selling the 300d on ebay (i know you want the xti/xt.......but hey, i tried..) and it's only at 160 I think. haha.

you're not going to find an XTi for $300 anywhere...if you're going to be that cheap about it, don't bother because lenses are just as expensive

whered you get $300 from? i'm looking to spend about $400 on the body, but since I found the 20d for $465 i might just go with that..then im looking at the 18-55mm is lens, which can be found for about $150...or possibly a used lens w/ f2.8

Ooooh, I hope you didn't end up with the 18-55.  I tried that on my stepdad's camera a few times and wasn't really impressed.  Not to mention it's kind of an underwhelming match for a 20D.

no i did not end up with the 18-55..i actually havent decided on what lens im going to get, but i ended up spending a little more than I wanted to and may have to consider using a 50mm f1.8 as my only lense for now.
