so its my first year being able to slide any rail completly and i'm pretty happy and i finally got my 270 ons ok, but i'm having a hard time 270 off backside. Like on my 3rd try i got backside 270 offs a month ago off a twin barrel like almost every time. Then i learned it on a flat bar like a week later pretty good. Like 2 weeks ago i started having probs. Itook a break doing them because i spent all my time learning 270 onns and i hurt my leg so i had to take a 2 week break. Now i'm lucky iff i can get a bs 180 off a flat bar. I can butter it around to a 270 but its not steeeeezy. I actuall learned frontside 270 off today trying to do backside:<) But anyway wenever i try to do a backside i catch my edge on the end of the rail or something else stupid happens. I'm pissed cause i hiked this 15 foot flat bar like 30 times today and only got it like 2 times. pleez help
look over your shoulder, pop. i had the same problems for a while. I took a break and i lost them but prctice makes perfect now dey on lock down(for the most part). try to keep your momentum going through the rail. what i mean is when you pop on you spin left i'm assuming, so make sure you don't scissor at all and keep your shoulders parallel to the rail, not facing the end of it. Keep your hands right in front of your body also, make sure they don't lag behind in your spin caus it looks un-steezy and slows down your spin like woah. and if you're not too opposed try them with no poles i find it easier. hope this helps.
it is 100% where you look... and it might help to scissor your skis a bit to learn them, but it seems alot of people don't like the scissor technique. but your body will follow your head, give it a try.
not too good of an idea thats how you hurt your knees getting your skis caught up underneath and shit like that. i have problems too with bs 27's out so i can't really help you just thats a really bad idea.
it starts when you jump on. jump on and continuing turning on the rail - as if you were gunna butter 180 the rail. when you get to the end just keep looking, jump, and spin.
Mind over matter. Get your head straight and get some confidence again. Don't be lazy.
If you do all of these things, you should have no problem getting this, since you have done it before. All athletes have down days. One thing that helps me get some good energy and confidence is Red Bull or Nos or Monster or Rockstar whatever energy drink you prefer. Down that shit and go and you should get it bro! Don't get too down on yourself either because if you do that, you will only impose bad energy on yourself and when that happens you will never be able to get a trick!
