Bending Look P12 Piviot.

To start this off i know theres about 5000 threads about this but non of em where real clear on directions...

I wanna bend them over 08 invaders.... they claim a 71 mm brake when the invader is 83 mm .... how much work will it be to bend em, and how good of a chance of breaking the brakes is there? and i really dont wanna have to dissimble them to bend them, is it still possible to do it?

That's probably too close for a total re-bend, you could probably do it on the ski if you're careful.  But I've never bent them for under 100mm, so I'm not 100% sure on that.

Don't do it the cheater way! (not taking them apart) I did that with my T-Halls and have had nothing but problems. The brakes stick out really far and it just sucks. I always catch them landing jumps switch and leaning forward because they go down a bit them catch the snow and you fall everywhere. Then the brakes are pointing forward and you have to bend them up again. 
When I mounted my Pipe Cleaners I took them apart and am happy I did. With skis that narrow, you basically just straighten the brake, then bend it practically in the same spot, but your new bend will be much more gradual and make it wider. Follow the TGR directions and take them apart, then put them together WITHOUT the spring in, and hammer it in after.
So far I have now taken apart and bend brakes on 4 turntables and it really isn't hard at all, except for hammering the spring back in.
