I was running my hand along the bases of my new skis, and I felt a slight bump where one of the screws for the binding is located. I tried to see the bump, but it was small enough that I could only tell it was there by feeling it. Will this be a problem? They're powder skis, so they won't have any contact with rails/boxes, and hopefuly minimal contact with hardpack and rocks.
my advice is ride em till the end of the season.... or once the're broken in some way than be like ughh can i get these warrantied my ugh base is dimpled and my edge is cracked.... or w/e and get a new pair for next season
You sir, are a cockface...and that is a douche move to be sure, Karma hates you.
You got a base dimple, so you have two options.... 1) Be a little whiny bitch and cry to the shop about it. 2) Sack up, quit your bitching and go ride them.
Seriously, just go with option #2, it won't matter in the slightest, and they're skis, skis are really just tools, they're meant to be used and chipped and the topsheets get cut up, and you're get core shots and have to have base welds...but oh well, just deal with it, everyone needs to just deal with it.
Sorry, that is my rant for the next while. Have a great day.
