So i got a pair of line blends around a month ago and they are delaminating already.. Ive heard that it happens easily with line skis. I love the skis, but im gonna go into the shop and try and get a refund or a store credit or something. think it will work? It looks like the edge on my other skis sliced the top of it, if that matters at all.
If i can get a refund i might get some volkle bridges instead. Or should i just try the blends again?

If line warranty them, they certainly won't give you Volkl skis as a replacement

i doubt they will do much... it will probably depend on if there are other signs of damage such as cracked edges, scratches, core shots, etc... and if you have been doing rails probably not. but on the other hand if the skis are fine other than the delam then it will look like the ski is faulty and you might be in luck

ill skis do this, delaminating really means when huge amounts of the topsheet are falling off. not when theres impact from rail damage.
my line anthems are starting to seriously delaminate though. you can pick at the wood, im going to have to warranty them pretty soon.

Hmm.. yea i guess the store would have to send them back.. There not completely delaminating,, it kinda looks someone took an axe to the topsheet near the edge.. If its gonna be a huge hassle i might just try and melt some really good shop P tex in there go from there..

Not really?..
I've always seen delam as when the topsheet or base actually separates from the core, not topsheet chips

delamination is when the previously glued layers of the ski begin to come unglued. When this happens you should always get them warranteed, but in most cases this will take several weeks of skiing on rentals. It sounds like youre all describing topsheet core shots, which never really amounts to much besides making you look badass in the lift line.

my anthems are delaming, i just re-epoxied them, and we'll see how it goes. i cut the shit out of the topsheet so im not too surprised, still sucks tho. guess my chronics will see work for a lil while

Well i guess you wouldnt call it delaminating them then.. but worry is that the slice will spread even more.. i skied on them tonight and now there way worse

I just got a brand new pair of Blends from the warranty and now I'm trying to sell them. Line has an amazing warranty, mine were kinda caused by me and they still gave me a new pair. They certainly do have a delam problem though...

That definitely sounds like it is under warranty. I would do that and get new skis. Then you can sell them and get the Bridges you want.

I'm pretty sure that line will replace them under warranty but you will just get the same skis again, definitely not a store credit
