Yes, mt. wash gets a lot of snow, but its shmoo most of the time. Hardly ever blower. I grew up in campbell river, can remember getting dumps of 50cm... wet concrete. Fun stuff.

Sad but true. It's way overpriced too. almost $60 for a day pass. The only reason that they get away with it, is that it is the only resort on the island, bastards.

so you don't get a too distorted image of mt washingtons...the base never really compacts when the site updates. im also pretty sure they measure from the tops of windlips. and the park crew cant keep up because they suck. pow gets tracked out pretty quick, most of the time pretty heavy. good times will be had though, pretty deacent mt.

ya the grooming is rediculous this year, they've been tryin to build sum sick jumps but it hasnt been workin out, the cat broke down yesterday in the park adn then got stuck today haha its pretty damn rough, it pissed me off too because i spent 3 hours shoveling all the rails in the park last night, buidling jumps and packing them in, everyone was stoked in the park last ngith but park crew would not open them today, i fuckin only did it to hook everyone up but i guess i shouldnt do nice stuff lol

I was back there over the xmas break. Holy shnikes that place was loaded with snow. I went up to 46cms and bluebird the first day. Boomerang is the shit, only because it allows you to access the backside waaaay better...I hit cougar cliff first day and it was ill. Hiked that ridge off of suicide traverse numerous times and got super deep blower untracked all the way down to the lake. Did a couple road runs and they were sickter too.
I met up with a couple of kids from the freestyle club and skied with them... I think we should orginize a billet swap with the clubs over spring break. theres probably 5-6 kids that want to check it out from my club, and im sure a couple of you mt washington groms that would like to come to whistler.
Regardless that mountain is off the hook right now.
sooooooooooo much snowwwwww

snow is probebly the best its been in a long time and almost the most since 98' so the powders off the hook and park crew is in way over there head with all the sow and the groomers all being rookies at it tought time but they'll get it done eventually
All times are Eastern (-5)
