Argentina

Alright, I know it's not south america season yet, and this should be in a regional, but I need to start thinking about this now and there isn't a regional forum for south america. 

I posted a while back about the idea of going down south for at least a month or so this summer, and now i'm about 95% sure i'm going to do it. im probably going to hang out in buenos aires for a couple of weeks first, then go out and ski. i'm pretty sure i'm going to go to Bariloche over, say, Las Lenas or something. 

Here's the dilemma: I'm not having any trouble finding places to stay in buenos aires, but finding an apartment online in Bariloche is REALLY confusing. housing rental sites dont specify whether the rathes they're posting are daily, weekly, or monthly...or even what currency theyre using. on top of this, accomodation descriptions are exceptionally vague. 

does anyone know ANYTHING about getting a place down there for like a month?? i mean ANYTHING...im looking for people who have been there, lived there, CURRENTLY live there, maybe just WANT TO GO THERE...anyone who might know something about getting a place to live in bariloche for a month and can point me in the right direction. THAAAAAANKS. 

oh, and mods, feel free to put this thread anywhere you want if it doesnt seem to fit in this forum, just so long as wherever you put it makes sense. i want as many useful people to see this as possible.
