so a couple days ago i was skiing, and both of my bindings are perfectly fine, next day i go up and one of my bindings seemed to have changed, what i mean by tht is tht my toe was slipping around. nothing had been adjusted to make this happen, and this only happened on one binding, what happened
and do you mean the toe piece is coming away from the ski (i.e. screws are loose/it has been pulled out a bit), or do you mean the wings on the toe are moving around etc
haha, dude, your forward pressure prolly slipped back or something. what kinda bindings? and yes, as a shop tech, you or someone there SHOULD DEFINITELY know or be able to figure it out. but if its a salomon S9 toe, your toe wings are loose. FKS's, your forward pressure arms backed out a bit, a tabbed heelpiece, it musta jumped back or something.
It's your forward pressure I'm betting...either that or maybe you broke some part of your binding, but without looking, it's impossible to say about that.
s9 series are the most known because they tend to loosen up....the old s7 had toe wing adjustments as well though, and a few others...most companies use auto adjusting wings though, they don't come loose, but they tend to not be as precise because they can't be manually adjusted for each boot sole and it's relative wear, etc.
jordans not a tech, we just work downstiars selling grom package deals and stuff and ocasionaly make a trip back into the shop to see if theve cracked open the brews yet. but there is another guy named jordan who is a tech in the shop
