the px series are all pivot heel bindings, not fks style but the regualr pivot style

px's aren't pivot but they're still great bindings. I  like mine so far

Race Stock bindings, turntable heel.
FKS120, 155, 185 (12,15,18DIN) - More metal in Toe/Heel. Very durable.

wait, so youre saying i gave him the wrong info? we are talking about px's here right? like these?

those heels pivot right? therefore they are pivot heel bindings! i said that all the px's are pivot heel bindings like shown, yet they are not fks style becuase those are turntable style heels. right? so i dont see how i gave him the wrong information....

those heels do not pivot, u gave him false info, px's DO NOT pivot, p's DO pivot, i have p12's and there pivot, my friend has px12's and they dont pivot

ok ok so honest question, when we refer to "pivot", are we referring to the movement of the long piece snapping up into place to hold the boot down? or are we referring to the binding heel having the ability to rotate like turntable bindings?

the heel piece's ability to "pivot" in a circular motion.  So kind of like the turntable design.  Turntables pivot 360 degrees, P series bindings pivot 45 degrees and PX series bindings DO NOT pivot.

BUT just because they don't pivot doesn't mean they are bad bindings at all.

p stands for "pivot" px DOES NOT therefore a p12 "pivots" while a px12 does not. the px still has full range of release, but it does not pivot in an attempt to remove the play, or wiggle in the binding that comes with the pivot heel peices
