Replying to Help me buy a tv... fast please

So Im in need of a new tv. I have 2 choices really.

1.) Sony rear projection lcd tv (42/46 inch, not sure). This is on clearance from 1300 to 1000.

2.) Sharp 32 inch lcd for 750, marked down from 1050.

I would be doing a lot of gaming on this and watching some hd shit. i also will need to transport the thing in a year when I move out, but I shoudlnt be moving that far... (drivable distance). I was leaning towards the sony as its larger.

Comments, advice? I don't know much about rear projection.
