You never know where a gaper might be sitting. I was at breck and i went off a jump only to find a little girl on the landing. I wanted to tap her helmet like that one movie on the site but i ended up just  crashing into her. I broke her leg and she blew my knee out. I might be going to jail now so i just wanted to make my mistake into a warning for all you jumpers out there. Look before you leap!

i landed switch on a jump yesterday and turned around to see some sketchy snowboarder inches away from me. i yelled at him for a bit but he didnt say anything...he just rode to the lift after looking at me like an idiot for a couple of seconds.

yeah u are probably right. the da will look that shit over and smile at the stupidity of the human race. it happened outside the park and the girl had to be flown down to denver. so it was kind of serious but kind of not.

It seems a little over-exagerated to me. You CANT get charged a fellony for colliding with someone on the hill. That IS NOT possible by any means.

ok this ids story is 100% true. He limped into class today and the teacher asked what happened and he said "I hit a jump and landed on some girl that was sitting on the landing. It broke her legs and blew my knee and shes got a good lawyer"

not true.  In my home town, some guy crashed into a ski instructor teaching a group of kids and she broke her collarbone and a few ribs.  the guy got jail time and he was banned from skiing for a year.
