Burton may sponser me...

I just got a voicemail from a burton sponser rep. 

Im confused because let me be honest im not that great.  I mean i can do rails boxes, and medium sized jumps.  I think they called me is because last year i sent a sponser message to them saying im not that great yet, and that I would love to rep their gear and shit like that.

do you guys think its legit, he said he would call back later.

If your not that great than I dont know why they would want to sponser you since they are such a huge company. (not trying to be a dick either)  But thats sweet that they called you, I would be excited.

thats sick...and also, just wondering, are there people who live near you who are a lot better or are you pretty much the best person at your mountain?  because, if you lived somewhere like park city it would be impossible to get sponsered unless you were really good, but if you lived somewhere more rural that i think you probably have a good chance!

C. they are just gonna give you pro forum, usually if you are decent and ask you can get a hook up with it. i know one kid who was riding the park at this one mountain and started talking to this rep and the guy was like do some shit for me so he did a 3, 5 and hit a dub kink and the dude hooked him up with pro forum, and the kids not even good.
