coming from england you dont get much info about all this stuff. I know hes a snowboarder but how did he break both his legs so badly? And such an amazing recovery. any stories welcome

he had a few shots in video gangs. he was riding down a trail at night on a closed mountain but it he was with like a ski patrol escort and some other riders and that was a cat winch acroos the trail. he saw it a second before he hit and turned 90 degrees to stop and it hit him on the knees and sent his knees the wrong direction. doctors said he wouldnt walk again. hes winning contests rightnow
