Warmest gloves under $100

Ok so I ski in Alaska, and I need a GLOVE (not a mitt) that can keep my hands warm in -20 conditions. I'd like goretex in the glove since I'm shelling out some money for these, and they must be durable (ie the palms don't get torn appart the first day).  I'm tired of cold hands. Are the dakine cobra gt gloves a good choice? Feel free to add any suggestions.

I understand a mitt sounds better, but I don't like the "feel?" of mitts.

my buddy has dakine cobras, and i can pretty much guarantee you those will not be warm enough. they are a nice glove, but they are much more thin than you would expect, therefore not as warm as you are looking for.

might wanna try and snag a pair of hestras of ebay you could prabbaly get some around 100
i dunno my hands dont get to cold i can waer my drop pipe glove up to about -10 celsies (sp)
ive heard the hestras are really warm and durable
did you try those hand warmers
there like a little pouch of chemicals that giive off heat all day and you throw them in your gloves my freind uses them

Check out Level gloves, I got myself a pair a few years ago (forgot the name, they have build in wrist protection, but specifially designed for snowboarding/skiing, not like the skateboard wrist guards) and I sweat like crazy in them every time (not that that's so good, but still, never get cold in them). I'm guessing it's around 25-10 °F most of the time where I go skiing, but you can get extra inner gloves. Also, they're really strong, reinforced with Kevlar all over. Best gloves I've ever had, period. I used to freeze to death in every other pair of gloves I've owned.

And yes they're "snowboard" gloves, but who cares. Not too sure about the price btw, might have been as much as 120€ (= 180$), but I bought them a really long time ago and I might be completely wrong :).

try geting the nicest ak burton glove in kids in like xl, or just use more money for a better glove and get the mens ak's

Yah theres an AK clutch pair at my shop for like 90. But my last burton gloves i tore the fuck out of in like 5 days, so we returned them. So I'm kind of nervous about getting burton gloves again...

Yeah top end Hestra or even Swany gloves are renowned for warmth & quality - exxy but effective.

Dude, such a big difference between -10 bellow Cand -20 F.

yo mittens are the only way to go if you ski in that cold of conditions. besides, theyre so freakin cozy anyway i dont realize why you dnot want them

man -20F is SO FUCKING COLD. I would be getting Burton AK Continuum Fuse mitts of something whether they feel good or not, irrespective of price. SO COLD.

I guess you would have a better tolerance for that sort of temp
though

Is that including windchill?

Nah its not including windchill, but i'm very glad that we don't get a whole lot of wind here.

So AK gloves are legit then? And as for dakine...?

Dude I now you said you don't want mitts but, I got a pair of the analog mitts, they're like  gloves on the inside so you have that feel and control but they're mitts on the outside with a leather palm, super durable and I haven't had a cold day yet, I dont remeber the name but they're like the highest or second highest model they sell...right in your price range.

You should look into Switch gloves. I own a pair and they are the soooo warm. I have the worst circulation in my hands and have owned a few different pairs of gloves, and Switch has by far been the best pair of gloves I've owned. They keep my hands so warm that the only way to get them cold is to take my gloves off for a few mins.
