Heres the low down on booster straps, from my own personal experiences,
BUY THEM!
There are 4 types of Booster Straps, kid level, intermediate level, expert, and world cup race level. Each level has a number of elastic straps about 6 inches long that streches around the upper part or the cuff of your boot. kids level has one, intermediate has two, expert has three, and world cup has three with a stiffening splint in it. for you the expert one should work really well, or if you dont want that much go with the intermediate. i use the expert becuase i hate shin bang and love total responsivness from my boots. the expert ones are like 30 bucks, the intermediate are like 27. these are so worth it because it tightens everything up around your shin, creating a better rebound, more pop (sort of), better responsivness, and less shin bang. I would recommend the expert for you. Now, these can either replace your existing strap or go above it, it depends for certain cases. if i were you i would replace the regualr strap with these once you get them, just look in the back and there should be some rivets that hold the strap on, (you might have to have a shop do this too), but you can permanatley put them on your boots and that helps a little more too becuase it is part of the boot. These are well worth the money, feel free to PM me if you have anymore questions...
