i usually rail with my right foot forward, so wen im on the rail or box, is it easier to spin to the left again and turn my back for a sec or just go unnatural the other way
spinning your natural way would be a backside switch up and since you go blind for a second those are harder. unnatural would be a frontside switch up. do a frontside first even though its not your natural way of spinning. they are waaay easier.
if ur gonna switch up blindside, pop onto the box and wind up with ur uper body a little, as if u were gonna spin on...this way you get your momentum spinning the way u want to switch up
for frontside switch ups, i drop my front ski off the edge of the box alittle, like in a pretzel, this stops ur momentum from goin the way you poped on and allows you to push off of the front ski
I learned BS and i dont know how to do FS yet. I havent perfected it yet but its getting there.
I just first tried on easy flat boxes, went really slow onto the box and tried it. There really is no grip on the box so iits kind of hard, just commit. When you jump onto the box, throw your shoulder/upper body around a little more then usual and then once your on, bend knees and set up for a little pop, and just try to swing around. Make sure to keep looking at the end of the box once you spun, since your body will turn that way.
