What's the absolute worst rip off on food at a resort you have seen and where did you see it? Mountain food is insanely expensive here, so is it wiked expensive where you ski?

In france the price for mountain food is fuckin ridiculous.

if the prices weren't bad enough alone tremblant has like an extra 2% tax for no reason.. bring food, or steal..

the chalet on top of tremblant is easy to rip off...casue u walk into that big area, eat as much food as u can, drink all u want ( fountian) then just pay for one drink

Vail, hot dog and like 5 stale potato chips - 9 bucks. the hot dog was a fuckin oscar mayer fuckin thing for 9 fuckin bucks on a plate.

Chestnut, on the otherhand, is a really good deal place tho. They have KMX energy drinks for half of what they cost at the stores. they're like 75 cents there. pretty sick.

thats why you work at the mountain, 50% off pass, but anyway, at stratton its $7 for large fries, and they arent even as big as the mediums at mount snow (which are like $3 or $4)

I payed $5 for this really yummy brownie up at the mountain. It was like a 1lb brownie. But it was still very expensive.

Tremblant is so expensive, and the food isn't good. We always just bring sandwiches and Jo Louis. We were eating there one day and this kid ran into my buddy and my bud's pop dumped all over the top of this kid's head. Classic.

Treetops in Michigan has 5 cheese sticks for 5 dollars. I was like 'These better be the best cheese sticks I've ever had'. They actually were. Still too much.

yeh, at meadows, you can buy a whole cheese pizza for $22. We usually share, but that's like twice normal price for pizza

I always bring like three of those no drain packs of tuna and some major carbs and some power bars or cliff bars (taste better AND healthier ;) haha) and if I'm not riding park I wear my camelback and I'm set for the whole day and I don't even need to stop at a lodge cause you can eat it all on the lift! very trendy!

I love knowing some of the people that work in the food place. They give me free food every time ah so nice a $10 burger is free for me.

The people at the Bird always seem to not account for all my food. Like I'll get a hamburger, fries and a drink, and they'll only make me pay for the burger. Its pretty sweet.

Puddin at Sunday River is 4.95 which is a total ripoff. However, you can get a Double Stack grilled cheese, and a plate of fries for 3.50, weird huh.

Sunday River's is not too bad its like the same price you would pay at a Pub for a burger or what not and last year the quality of their food went WAY UP. They actually were using the same burgers and stuff they use in their restaraunts. And they sold personal pizzas from Papa Ginos, for like 4 or 5 bucks or something.

here's what you do...buy a george forman then buy a car cigarette lighter converter that turns it into a regular outlet...burgers, chicken and your own bbq in the mountain parking lot...or you have your mom make sandwhiches for you and your friends...

pack your own food, like a sandwich and just put it in your pocket, or my patented method is go into the lodge, get a whole tray of food, eat it all in the line before you get to the cashier, put the tray back and walk out. both methods work fine.

yeah stealing food is the way to go. Which reminds me one day at breck i got a breadstick and the dude said it was 10 cents and i just ignored him and walked out and he ran after me grabbed me and threatened to get my pass taken away all over one lousy 10 cent bread stick.
