so, my friend just bought a new pair of skis and he said he sell me his old skis, whcih are the 2007 Fugatives with no bindings for 75 bucks(no bindings). I understand that this is a good deal but are these skis a good ski?
These are the skis
and would a pair of 5-912 bindings good for these skis?
they are not that bad for all mountain, a little noodely for chunkey stuff but they are pretty good overall, and the tips come pretty high off the ground, id say about 4 inches (i think thats what you were trying to ask)
i am going to use my same year fujatives at whistler in like a week, but i already use them for my everyday park/allmountain ski, except when there is good snow i will use better skis.
i have a pair of 159 07 fujis and a pair of 179 07 fujis that i got on sale this year cuz i grew a lot. now that im on the 179s i have to say that i LOVE theses skis. get them for sure. super soft and buttery in the tips and tails but nice and stiff underfoot. also super durable. rode the 159s 50 times last year and i do a lot of rails. also rode them over the summer on turf in my yard. they are still in VERY GOOD condition. unless ur friend beat the shit out of his skis this is an excellent deal.
I have had fugatives for the last 5 years, they are a lot of fun. Nice wide underfoot for a park ski, makes it easier to stomp stuff. Jump on that deal.
They are soft, but fun. I have skid them in all conditions and they are awesome. They are not a powderski, so comparing them to one lshouldnt be done, but they can handle themselves.
