Replying to Igloo's, snowcaves, and quincies.

hey everyone, well i should hope that by now everyone has a good amount of snow sitting around their front yard.  if not - i feel sorry for those of you who don't get to live in a town that gets snow. 

anyways - yesterday i broke my ski.  well, i didn't BREAK my ski, but i ripped the heal piece out and i have to wait till friday night for a cheque to clear before i have any money.    i have park skis, but it's snowing out and i figure i'd just get pissed off trying to ski pow on 178 skinny skis - for that reason i am taking the next few days to start construction on my igloo.   

to be correct the actual term for the thing i am building is a quincy.   it's where you pile up snow then dig out the middle and are left with something that resembles an igloo.     last year i made my best one to date, with a 13ft tunnel going into it and enough bench space for 22 people to sit down (and a roof high enough for my tallest friend who stands at 6'4 or so).     anyways, i started building this years this morning and it's looking good.    it's going to have two rooms with a slide going from the upper room to the lower room, and all togeather it should hold up to 30 people...    

anybody else make igloo's?  they're fun.
