Ok well let me just say that I have been skiing for over 15 years, but these will be my first twin tips as i will be trying the art of freestyle skiing.
I went to a local ski shop, and the guys there said that the two skis i should get are either the Line Anthem or the Chronic. The package they put together was Those skis, with a Dibelo (sp?) boot, and Rossi Scratch bindings.
Are these good beginner twin tip skis? What are the specific advantages of each (The guy said that the Anthem was better for all mountain, which i thought the Chronic was for that)? And do they have a "Vertical Wall", which is something I have been told that i need?
Any other info or tips you guys have is greatly appreciated.

I'd go Chronics, for more all mountain versatility. Anthems are wider, but they're symetricall and you'll be getting them mouned near-center which isnt great for al mountain/powder. Go Chronics

I am 5 foot 11 inches, and weigh about 150 pounds.
I live in the upstate New York region, and went to a ski shop there, and the guy said that i should get the anthem for all mountain. This is weird.

okay first off, the anthem is a park ski. it's really really soft and not nearly as good as the chronic for all mountain. for what you've described, i'd definitely recommend the chronic. i have anthems, and while they're a great ski, they're too soft for me so i'm actually goign to be switching out to the blend or the chronic. since you've been skiing for 15 years on conventional equipment that is probably much more similar to the chronic or the blend, i'd recommend you check out either one of those two and take the anthem out of the equation.

chronics for all mountain for sure, there fairly stiff. Anthems are symetrical so unless your mounting them center it would be kinda pointless Anthems are wider and softer.

The guy at your shop is an idiot. I have Anthems and they are fine for all mtn. but the chronic will be better. I use my Anthems in park and in anything that isn't deep (got Bacons for that). The anthems are a very fun soft poppy ski and they are really easy to ride switch on because they are symmetrical.
Also why would he recommend Dalbello boots, have you tried on any boots yet, just get boots that fit, might be Dalbello, might not be.

id def go for the chronics, but not for the bindings. i had some problems with those bindings. the first time they snapped in half. i thought that it was a freak thing so i got them mounted again and the brakes stuck up/down, which isnt too safe. i dont know if i just had terrible luck or the binding was weak, but if it were me i would get the chronics with a different binding. marker jesters is what i have now and theyre sick and still fully functional.
