into thin air by jon krakauer is a good one, about the everst disaster in 96
life of pie by jan martel. really good, pretty odd
Fahrenheit 451 by ray bradbury is also excellent
I just got back from Mexico, read the Jimmy Buffet book, "A salty piece of land" such a chill ass book, Jimmy Buffet is the man haha.
For my english ISU we had to do it on a piece of Canadian literature and I read No Great Mischief by Alsitair MacLeod which was also a pretty tight book.
i think it would freak me out if my dad ever suggested burroughs to me. ive only read naked lunch. it was really awesome, but pretty damn disturbing. and a little awkward when someone asks you what its about. "well, its about this heroin junky that likes to fuck young boys...."
