went to windham on sat 1/5. the warm-up park had one solid kicker probably in the 15ft-20ft range i would guess. the rest of the park had these double/roller type hits that sucked. the jib park had 4 features...flat down rail, flat box, s-rail and a u-shaped box. not the greatest, the trails were icey and the lift lines were around a 20 min wait. check hunter's park if you're headed that way.
Right now Belleayre only has their "mini park" set up at the bottom of Wanatuska. Which includes an apparently shitty jump, as well as 5 boxes. An up box, flat box, kink, c-box, and battleship. The half pipe should be done by the end of this week. As soon as the temps drop, they will start blowing on the actual park and get that set up.
That's the plan. The new park guy Eric Tompkins from Mountain Creek is running it. He's got a great crew of guys helping him this year, plus all the locals who give their insight on what they want. He's a hard working dude, who definitely wants to get it right. He's also the coach for the freestyle team, so he knows what he needs.
I'm excited. I feel like Belleayre is finally embracing freestylers.
