I need another ski company..... MY BLENDS SUCK

hey ya so i have had these chronic blends and skied on em eh maybe 20 times. i had my chronics waranteed then they gave me the blends and the have delamed on the tip once again.. so basically i need some input on a solid ski company with a ski for park 60% then All Mountain/ BC 40%. I weigh 175 6'2". Can you guys tell me from what your riding this year of what is a bombproof/ lightweight ski that is not a Line product. The reason i am moving away from line is cus this has happened twice within one year

dude you cold go with volkl but if i was you i would stick with line i had the same delimia and i decided to stick it out with moment in my case and it turned out great. but if u feel like line is seriously no good. try volkl line is pretty sweet like the wall or the bridge

I went from line chronics last season which were a little stiff for me to surface watch lifes (06/07)

I <3 surface now, and the only problem I've had so far is the topsheet chipping a little bit (only cosmetic)

hows the weight on surface skis? and any opinions on high society im in aspen for break right now and ive seen some guys on those they look pretty sick. and finally hows the durability on the ARV's?

Probably poopy like all other Armada's...... they are bomber in the vital construction, but the topsheet chips like no other.

the topsheets do chip, but thats just cosmetic. you can carefully sand down the edges of your topsheet if you want

i say this years 185 ARV, they are stiffer than last years and if you get them a little back from center they will kill in the park

really alright i wanna check those out and as far as durabilty??? idk i have been skiing around with some guys who are riding for armada and im interested in those. from what i have experienced my blends are way to fucking heavy for park atelast with my bindings so weight is a big deal and they are realativley stiff which isnt bad but let me know what you guys ride for park?

The most durable skis I've ever skied as far as the topsheets were the Line Skogen Sprang Pros.  They had a rubber-like topsheet similar to the Line Mavericks.  As far as other skis go, the only topsheets that seem similar are the new topsheets for Movement and G3 skis.  Considering you want a twin twip, try out Movement.  The Baggys are a very nice ski, and I think it's the Kamasutra that is more of a park/allmountain ski.

i didnt mind the skis or the company (great customer service) but for christ sakes learn how to fucking fix a problem after it has reoccured year after year. this delam is a ridiculous problem and i mean i havent even skiied them that hard

I had a similar situation happen to me, except with three pairs of salomon 1080's, in a row, with not one pair lasting more than 10 days..(they warranteed all of them, but it was a serious pita) and I had a friend tear through his pair of 1080's and a pair of lines..so needless to say, avoid salomon like the plague, and you have your own experience with line..but I replaced them with scratchs which have been bombproof (and I've done some pretty stupid stuff with them) and my buddy got some head mad trix which also seem pretty hardcore, just a little heavy.  Anyways, I'd definitely recommend Rossignol..

I think you just got really unlucky. The chronics are known for being super strong and Ive seen a ton of them over the last few year.(no problems)  Theres not a delaming problem with the chronic models nor has there ever been one, you just got shafted some how with bad luck.

do you like more flex or stiffness?  bluehouse are pretty cool park before all-mountain skis and on the stiff side

i think the high societies are very stiff so if that ywhat you looking for then go for it.

I have 06 fujatives and they hold up pretty well other then scratches in the top sheet, for what you want it sounds like fujatives arn't for you but the PE or silencers would be good. From everyone i know that has K2 i've heard positive things so... Other than that I've heard Volkls are solid

yeah they are, i threw some jesters on them and +2 from center and they are sooo much fun switch/the lightest set up i have ever had. But if you want to stick it out with line try some bacons, i love mine, they are my all mt. do it all, i have them at -2 from true center and they are great everywhere, the sidecut is amazing, and again, they carve sooooo well switch
