the way i do them(badly) is to get on a normal grind but a little off to the side and then with strong straight legs lean forward so the center of gravity isn't under my feet and more it's in front of them my skis just slide back arcordingly.

i wasn't surprised by all the homphobicness on here but i relly didn't expect racisim. america is really quite different to britain, they seem to be scared of the word cunt but not of being openly racist or even basicly a nazi.

i think you've got it spot on. brits are really racist, london's okay, outskirts is really bad, and go anywhere else and you're guaranteed to get stared at or abused/harassed verbally.

thats not really what i ment but i guess me speaking for britain isn't very good cos i'm not the same as the majority of brittish people. most of them are total dicks come to think abut it. but i can't see anyone from where i live post shit like that on forums like this. i think the thing about most people in the uk that are rasist is not that they genuinely hate people who look different, they just want an excuse to act hard in front of there mates and get in fights.

holy shit noone cares about you brits and americans and rasicms the kid asked how to fucking nose press.

this is what i do.... come farther away form the box on the side i grind and dont cut in as much and basically set where i want y skis to be and lean foward. i cant really explain it but PM ill get a video

what can i say cunt is a great word. i hope i helped this dude with his nose press issue cos this threds turned into a racism/culture thread now. btw i'm not sure if you are clear, i am from the highlands of scotland. where one of said "hard men" say things like "you are the soundest cunt" to people like there thier best friend. i still find it amusing and i'm used to it.

1. use a box not a rail
2. lock a bit towards the side of the box you will be pressing upon,
making sure to have your hips and feet as well as the rest of your body, at least when learning
parralell to t he box, aka a line through both sides of you hips will go straight donw the box.
3. dont lean over somuch push your feet out while keeping your body over the point where your feet were.
4. when you get to the end push down one your rear heelto  land switch spin blind side,
push down on your front heel to spin normal out.

on topic:

at ski camp a kid in my group was trying to learn how and the coach said unbuckle the top of your boots and hit a rail from the side and try to stay on in a nosepress, then when you buckle your boots again exert the same force. Worked good for him, i personally never tried to do a real nosepress, but try it out it will most likely help.
