none of you even know why the binding didin't fly, line was looking for a manufacturer, so they find one and they're gonna be made in china, just as the deal sets in, suddenly the ceo of the manufacturer dies unexpectedly leaving everything up in the air, so the new guy comes in and start manufacturing in china, suddenly sars breaks out and they loose alot of there workers and executive so the materials weren't properly made and put together, that's why they didn't come out this ;year cause it would've been to hard and the product would've been shotty, so all of you fags who think the binding sucks, go to hell, when they get it right it's gonna blow you away

yeah thats what they told the public but i heard that they could still be shipping the bindings to the reatailers for this upcomming season

they are shipping them out, but not many retailers are buying them due to the problems last year, the problem had nothing to do with line, it was all the manufacturer, i'm sick of all these newbs just talking shit that they don't know

yeah they looke hella sick, but it was there first year out, and with ANYTHING your going to have problems, you can not test every absolute possible scenario, line finally tries to hook up some what of a new school jibbing binding, something that hasnt really been done, and people bitch and moan, what the fuck!?

skiings about going out and charging every day, no matter how good you are-

they ARE sick. i own them. they're heavy, cause i got the pretty much all metal ones from last season, but they are so kick ass. i def. think i'd buy another pair in 04-5 to save some weight, but otherwise, i love them. they don't do 'fuckmotherfuckerbitchassbitchshitfuck' releases, they really only release in the event that I fall (which never happens, yo) or screw up in some way.

again, the bindings problems had nothing to do with line, the problems were all the manufacturers fault, the desings were flawless, it was the manufacturer

also concerning the weight, i thought long and hard about why they'd make them so heavy, then i realised, lines are center mounted, and then i thought about how light the line skis are, so think about having these feather on your feet with this center weight in the middle, you're gonna spin like crazy, it would almost act like a gyroscope

You're saying that the catastrophe involving the Line binding had nothing to do with Line?

Sounds like a pretty easy way out to me. If they had the design all perfect and ready to go, why didn't they just get another factory to make it for them? There is more than one factory that can make pieces of metal out of design specs.

I wonder if maybe a *tiny* bit of the problem had to do with the product. It's possible you know...

according to jay, the problems with the bindings were not line's fault. i also work at a shop, and we were informed about everything that went on with the whole sars deal

well i work in a shop too... we ordered the bindings and got them last year and guess how many we sold. ZERO. Guess how many runs it took me to break a pair. 2. right between the 4 screws. tell you what, we wont carry the binding next year, and i'll leave it up to your $$ and your knees to decide. word im out

there problems in both areas probably, and your gonna get a different story everywhere you go, but its a good idea and i hope they get it right

Maybe its not all lines fault, but I would have to say they are primarily to blame. The bindings were heavy, prone to breaking and in the end unsafe. Much of this is due to design flaws, not a bad manufacture.
