Snoqualmie/Alpental Thread

I used the searchbar and there werent really any recent threads that
just talked about snoqualmie/alpental updates, like the park, snow,
road conditions, or w/e . I wanted to see one of these threads since
thats my local mountain, and I just want to know whats up.
Anyways. Snoqualmie is adopting the park pass.
Today park crew was trying to enfore a park pass. For what I know so far, its for central park only.
There
is a little teepee shaped shack next to central express where you have
to watch a 20min video/sign a release form and you get a park pass, You get a little sticker to put on your pass. Its free. The next time for the video posted on the window
of the shack.
Its not well inforced yet, you can just go under
the orange boundry tape easily and the cat track still connects to the
park so you can access it easily. I'm pretty sure it wont work that
well but i guess its worth a try?
The snow was nice today, not wet and all that heavy and lots of fun in the powder, it was pretty deep.

Is the correct word. Everything was blower and DEEEEP. So stoked to have a day like that. Early lifts from 8:30 till 9:25-50ish were pretty low key.

Swung by on my way back to Tacoma from Montana, hit up night skiing.
I should have brought my ice skates, so sketchy right now.
The landings to the two biggest hits in Central are fucking ridiculously flat. I could have a picnic out there if I wanted. Somebody is going to get demolished on those.
I hope it snows soon, because they need it bad.

The main jump and my Hellbents just could not agree today. It was horrible. My choices turned out to be boosting 3/4 down the landing, or casing on the knuckle. We're getting a fuck load of snow though so some pow skiing is in the near future.

take a look at nwac's telemetry data for Alpy and see if you're still bothered.

I spent the most time in line for a chair ever this weekend. 35 minutes to get on the double at East, fucking ridiculous.

chair 2 was 45min-hour.
But I pissed the crowd off a good one when i decided to go be friends with patrol and jump the line.
two of te patrol were douche bags though and said they weren't allowed to bring non patrol with them so they waited 10+ minutes for another patroler to show up. The Rest were chill though.

yeah i left east on Sunday after one run, it was ridiculous. Central wasn't as bad.
And yeah, they really need to change up the set up. Its getting really boring for some reason(although i cant hit all the features) And need to add the two jumps at the top that they had last year.

Alpental won't be open right away tomorrow, says on their site that they need to do avalanche work on alpental road and the ski area before opening. Traffic blocked from going left. All the other 3 areas will be open on normal operating hours.
