Ok, so almost everyone is now familiar with the park situation in the rockies. Does anyone know of a website that is considered an interest group for the cause to bring back the parks? For gov class we need to find an interest group that we believe in teh goals they have and navigate through the website showing:
Goal: to research an interst group whose goals you support and share information about this organization with the class in a brief presentation.
- type of group it is
- policies it advocates for
- recent succes in influencing government (if any)
- anything else important to discuss
I know it talk about having to do with the government, but it doesnt. And if anyone knows of any similiar 'interest group' related to skiing that would be nice so when im up there talking i'll actually be interested in the project and know my info, rather than doing something like 'greenpeace'.
